WHAT IS LIFER'S REHABILITATIVE ACT 2006

Hi, my name is Sandra and I have worked with various groups over the past 15 years concerning Human Rights Issues for people all over the world.

I came in contact with "Family for Lifer's Rehabilitation" through my husband Thomas Red Hawk Johnson who is serving life in a facility in Florida for a crime he did not commit.

While working diligently with research in the prison libraries to prove his innocence, my husband came across "Family for Lifer's Rehabilitation".

As the law now stands, in Florida, Lifers do not get the chance for parole. Life DOES mean Life !!!

Family for Lifer's is trying to show the Government that there is another more positive way to approach the sentencing system for those who commit those crimes which are punishable with a life sentence.

The purpose of my site is to try and help "Family For Lifer's" change the Life Sentencing procedure as it now stands by obtaining enough signatures to present the new Bill to the Department of Corrections in the hope that the "Family For Lifer's Rehabilitative Act of 2006" will be accepted and put into force.
